Title: christmas record on the way

finally. finally, i’ve been given the chance to make the Christmas record i’ve always hoped to make. it seems like it’s been so long coming, but i’ve put it off time and time again until the right season and the right songs came along. all inspired initially by one song - an old Jackson Brown tune called “The Rebel Jesus.” talk about a wake up call for the church to truly serve the season of Christmas well. i don’t have any idea what Jackson Brown claims as belief, but i can tell you by that one song that he gets the core cause of Christ more than most Christians i know (including myself some days). armed with the desire to really serve that end, my buddy Jason Ingram and i sat down early one morning not long ago with an old hymn called “Angels from the Realms of Glory” and ended up with a rewritten song that called us deep into a place of worship…it just felt like Christmas is really supposed to feel, you know? and then we just sort of looked up one day and had the makings of a Christmas record that feels so simple and so honest and so real (if i do say so myself). i don’t mean that in a prideful way, but in a “wow, what a gift we’ve been given” sort of way. i can’t wait for you guys to hear this record. i hope you find as much hope in it as i have in the making of it.peace to you.

Hey everybody! Welcome to my new (and hopefully improved) site. We're hoping that the new look reflects the direction of my new record, Between The Dreaming And The Coming True. We will be updating it over the next few weeks and hope that you enjoy browsing it as much as we did building it.
Please listen to my songs in the record section and check out my newest single. It's called 'I Will Lift My Eyes' and I hope you are encouraged by it. Radio stations are currently adding it so listen for it on your local station and if you get a chance, give them a call and request it.
As always, we'll have up to date tour listings - I'll look forward to seeing y'all out on the road this fall with my good friends Aaron Shust and Brandon Heath.
