My friend Dan King/Bibledude alerted me to this great slow-down post, Bebo. I highlighted it today over at NotSoFastBook.com, where I encourage readers to embrace slow moments as you have modeled so well in this story.

You've almost got me looking forward to the next storm that's about to roll through the Midwest this week!

I always thought it would be great if it snowed enough to LITERALLY close everything - schools, stores, businesses. Just to force everyone to stop rushing around and chasing things that are insignificant in the long run.

Glad you got to enjoy a weekend with your family!

I love those moments. When God refuses to let us get ahead of ourselves, we can stop our own little world to see Him once again... In this case, weather permits that we ignore our own lives for a second to realize how wonderful we really have it.

What an amazing perspective... I have a friend who wrote a book called Not So Fast that would probably LOVE this post. But I particularly like the idea of shifting perspective from being annoyed and frustrated at changes in plans to being happy about the opportunity that it provides.

Thanks for the wisdom dude!
